• Flamingo Las Vegas, a true Strip legend, has unveiled a breathtaking new lobby bar.

  • The dazzling new space features modern tropical decor, a 20-seat oval bar with tabletop gaming, and multiple TVs.

  • It’s all part of a massive, multi-year renovation transforming the 78-year-old property.

  • Fans have been quick to praise the stunning results, calling the video 'Great' and the bar 'Looks nice!'

The Flamingo Las Vegas, a bona fide legend on the world-famous Strip, has just opened the doors to a stunning new lobby bar, leaving fans completely dazzled.

The sleek and sophisticated new venue is the cornerstone of a comprehensive, multi-million-dollar renovation project aimed at refreshing the iconic 78-year-old property ahead of its milestone 80th anniversary in 2026.

Designed by the acclaimed Allard & Conversano Design, the brand-new lobby area immediately welcomes guests with a vibrant mix of vintage Vegas glamour and modern, upscale touches. At its heart sits the all-new, sleekly designed, 20-seat oval-shaped bar.

A video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by local Las Vegas insider Chris Holmes captured the impressive transformation. The clip shows the new, elevated check-in desks, a prominent new Starbucks (with a classic green logo visible in the background), and the central bar bustling with activity.

A Tropical Oasis Reborn

The new design expertly balances the property's rich history with modern luxury. Eye-catching bronze flamingo statues guard the entrance to the check-in area, while custom murals on the ceiling depict abstract, tropical plumage.

The bar itself is a central feature. It’s surrounded by stylish, forest-green leather chairs and polished wood accents. It features 20 tabletop gaming machines for guests who can’t wait to get in on the action and multiple TVs circling the ceiling, ensuring nobody misses a play.

Fans Rave: 'Looks Really Good!'

Reaction to the video has been universally positive.

Long-time visitors and fans were quick to jump in the comments section to offer their praise. "Great video! Looks nice," wrote one user.

Another enthused fan summed it up perfectly: "Looks really good!!!!"

Part of a Larger, Multi-Phase Master Plan

This isn't the only change coming to the historic resort, which was founded by mobster Bugsy Siegel in 1946.

The lobby bar opening is part of a larger ongoing renovation plan by owner Caesars Entertainment that also includes:

  • A full-scale re-imagination of Bugsy’s Bar, the popular spot at the heart of the main casino floor.

  • A major update to the guest room product, following the previous renovation of thousands of rooms in 2017-2018.

  • The addition of several new high-profile dining concepts, including Lisa Vanderpump’s Pinky’s by Vanderpump, Gordon Ramsay Burger, and the Cuban restaurant Havana 1957.

  • Upcoming openings: The artisanal Salt & Straw ice cream shop is set to debut soon, along with a massive entertainment complex, Category 10, inspired by country superstar Luke Combs.

The full-scale transformation is scheduled to be completed before the Flamingo formally celebrates its 80th birthday in 2026, ensuring the oldest resort still operating on the Strip remains one of its brightest and most vibrant stars.

As one executive recently stated, the renovations are all about "turning up the glam" and showing a new generation of guests exactly what makes the Flamingo so special.

Based on the initial reaction, it’s mission accomplished.
