United Airlines recently announced that is set to delight holiday-makers and business travelers alike. In a magnificent boost for Ohio travel, the airline is launching two spectacular new direct routes from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) straight into the heart of America’s ultimate playground, Las Vegas, and the sun-drenched beaches of Miami.
The massive expansion marks a historic milestone for United, propelling the airline’s capacity in Cleveland to its highest level in more than a decade.

Viva Las Vegas and Bienvenidos a Miami!
The spectacular new roll-out kicks off on September 24, 2026, with the launch of a highly anticipated, year-round service between Cleveland and Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas. Perfect for weekend getaways, the flights will operate five times a week, ensuring Ohioans have a direct line to the entertainment capital of the world.
But United isn't stopping there. For those dreading the biting Midwest winter, the airline is swooping in to save the day. Starting December 3, 2026, through April 5, 2027, United will launch a premier winter-seasonal service straight to Miami International Airport (MIA)—offering the ultimate escape to the Florida sunshine.
